And So It Begins…

Well, it’s that time of the year again. The time when my life grinds to a painful halt and I am caught up in a the CES/Xmas/New Years tidal wave. It’s the time of thing when there is so much to do that nothing at all gets done…
Right now the big things on my plate are-
- scheduling for CES
- wrapping up 2006 for xyz computing (finishing reviews etc)
- scheduling the holiday season so as to fit in me, my girlfriend, my family, extended family and friends
- finding gifts for family members and work associates
What a mess it all has become. The worst part is that as soon as I start to get something done, other things come up, generally the swarms of CES email, but also a lot of loose ends that need to be tied up as the year comes to an end. Sometimes I wonder if the holiday season is so difficult for everyone else. I think it is hard for me because the holidays are the busiest time of the year for tech and then CES just days after New Year’s really compounds everything because no one is around from Dec 25-31 so everything has to be done beforehand. Or maybe I am just completely imcompetent or exhausted after a few of work- could be any or a combination of them all…
