I _never_ use list view. Skimming through items in expanded view is a breeze: just go n, n, n, n, pause to read, n, n, ... That way you never have to "open" anything. Ah Reader... The lack of password protected feeds in particular is the *only* thing keeping me from adopting it. They can have my Daring Fireball member feed when they pry it from my cold, dead hands. Sigh...I *so* prefer Google Reader to NewsGator's web reader (which I use due to using NetNewsWire on the Mac) that it pains me every day. I would love to just move over to GR and be done with it.
