Tough Week for Guy K and Truemors

How is it that in just a matter of weeks Guy Kawasaki has gone from a blog superhero to everyone’s favorite whipping boy? This is probably a bit of an exaggeration but Guy has been getting a lot of not-so-great press lately, mainly because of his newest venture, Truemors.
There is a lot of distaste for the site out there, but some is warranted- it’s slow, not particularly useful, and filled with serious crap. Plus check out the About/TOS… Oh and the name? That’s where it all started to go wrong.
The pile-on:
It looks like the site is getting some very solid traffic right out of the gate, but I can’t imagine too many of those people sticking around. Having a big launch is typical for a site backed by a celebrity and/or something that gets this much press at the launch, it’s all about bringing people back. I don’t know how Truemors is going to do that…
By the way- all the negative feelings seemed to start here. Probably a not a good sign…
