I took the chance to limit my news this morning to Techmeme and Google News and a few other high points, not my normal 100+ feeds. It was a nice break, but you're right about all that extra browsing if you can't afford to hold off on your reading for the morning... If the RSS feed reader is down, and I feel I still need the news, I have to do a lot of browsing - TechMeme and all the major sites.
